I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of North Carolina and am nationally board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I am a graduate of the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, NC, where I received four years of extensive graduate training. I am also certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Clean Needle Technique and am a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). Chinese herbal studies have been with the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture and western herbalism studies with 7Song of the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine. My undergraduate degree is in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. I am also a licensed massage and bodywork therapist (NC #1661) and am certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy of Charlotte and I'm a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner and professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association with over 15 years of experience working in the healing arts profession.
